The Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) will hold a Town Hall
??????????? meeting from 6:30 meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18th, at the LCPS Administrative Offices,
??????????? 21000 Education Court, Ashburn.
This meeting is for parents and students with IEP?s or 504?s. It is designed to provide constructive feedback
????????? ? about systematic issues involving the LCPS special education process.
Written and public comments are both welcome. Public comments will be limited to three minutes. For privacy
??????????? reasons, comments should not include student and teacher names or the name of the school the student
??????????? attends.
There will be a rotation of three public comments followed by a panel response. Panel participants include LCPS
??????????? Director of Special Education Mary Kearney, Elementary Special Education Supervisor Rick Berry, Secondary
??????????? Special Education Supervisor Heather Cleary, Director of Diagnostic Services John Lody and Parent Resource
??????????? Center Educator Allyson Pate.
An interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing and a Spanish translator will be available.
