Start today with an app that might make your Android devices even more useful. Mediafire, the new app for the web-based online storage service, lets you access files shared and saved online from your devices. We?ve also got an update to Groupon that includes new features (and might save you some cash), and Trial Xtreme 3, a game packed with side-scrolling motocross action. These are apps worth downloading:
What?s it about? The official app of cloud storage locker service Mediafire lets you view anything you save through the service on your mobile device.
What?s cool? Mediafire a handy document and file sharing service, but up until now, it didn?t have an Android counterpart that made its features available through mobile. The app allows you to view files shared through Mediafire, as you might expect, and it also gives you the ability to upload items, including full photo galleries, directly from your device to the service.
Who?s it for? Mediafire web users, this app is a must-have if you?re an avid file-sharer.
What?s it like? For additional online storage options, give Dropbox a try.
What?s it about? Groupon is the group-buying coupon app that lets you grab deals from local merchants, along with other people.
What?s cool? By now you?re probably familiar with Groupon, which presents possible discounts and deals and makes them available once a certain number of users has committed to buying them. The app?s latest update includes a ?Gift Finder? that helps you figure out what to get other people for holidays and birthdays, a credit card scanner for faster sign ups, and a new section that aggregates deals that are highly relevant to you.
Who?s it for? If you?re a frugal coupon-clipper, Groupon is worth checking out.
What?s it like? LivingSocial and Google Offers also bring deals straight to your Android devices.
What?s it about? Side-scrolling motocross game Trial Xtreme 3 has players attempt stunts as you race for your best times, and also lets you challenge your friends.
What?s cool? The Trial Xtreme series is already well-liked among Android gamers, so the third title in the series significantly raises the bar. The game includes 76 courses to play through (12 of which are available for free), and lets you customize your racer with the money earned for winning races. The real goal is to finish each course as quickly as possible, though, and the game lets you challenge and take on other players, including your Facebook friends, to see who?s the best rider. You can choose tilt or touch controls and make the control scheme comfortable.
Who?s it for? Fans of other motocross trials and stunt games or racing games should download Trial Xtreme 3.
What?s it like? Obviously, Trial Xtreme 2 is worthy of your attention if you?re looking for more motocross action, as is Gnarly Bike.
